A Functional Capacity Assessment provides the NDIS with a summary of your current ability to manage daily tasks and the supports you require to achieve your goals. You may need an FCA when you first become a NDIS participant or if you experience a change in your function or support needs. It’s also a good idea to have an FCA every two years to make sure your support needs are being met.
