About the Opportunity

This is a genuinely diverse community Occupational Therapy role where no two days are the same.

You'll work with adults and older people across a broad range of clinical presentations, supporting them to maximise their independence, safety and participation in the activities that matter most.

Working across multiple funding streams - including the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Support at Home, Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA), Transport Accident Commission (TAC), WorkSafe Victoria and private services- you'll have the opportunity to develop a broad and rewarding skill set while making a real difference in your local community.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days at Seed Ability are exactly the same, but depending on your experience and career stage, your role may include:

Completing Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs).
Conducting Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments.
Completing home safety assessments.
Assessing, prescribing and reviewing Assistive Technology.
Completing home modification assessments and recommendations.
Supporting adults following injury, illness or changes in function.
Providing neurological rehabilitation and community-based rehabilitation.
Supporting people to remain living safely and independently in their own homes.
Working collaboratively with families, carers, support coordinators, case managers, builders, healthcare providers and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Preparing high-quality reports and recommendations.
Participating in supervision, multidisciplinary case discussions and ongoing professional development.
Contributing to service development, mentoring and leadership opportunities as your career progresses.

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

A degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
A current driver's licence.
A Working with Children Check.
A National Police Check.
An NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
