About the Opportunity

As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you'll work with children and families across a diverse caseload, delivering evidence-based assessment, intervention and education that creates meaningful change in everyday life.

You'll collaborate closely with Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, educators and our administration team to provide holistic, family-centred care.

Your role will be tailored to your experience, strengths and career goals.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days at Seed Ability are exactly the same, but depending on your experience and career stage, your role may include:

Completing functional, developmental and sensory assessments for children across a wide range of presentations.
Delivering evidence-based occupational therapy intervention to support participation in everyday activities at home, school and within the community.
Supporting children to develop independence in self-care, emotional regulation, fine motor skills, sensory processing, play and school participation.
Coaching parents, carers and educators to build confidence and carry therapy strategies into everyday routines.
Working collaboratively with Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, educators, GPs and other professionals.
Writing reports and recommendations for families, schools, kindergartens, NDIS and other funding bodies.
Participating in regular supervision, multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical education.
Contributing to service development, mentoring or leadership opportunities as your career progresses.
Continuing to develop your clinical knowledge and pursue areas of professional interest.

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

A degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
A current driver's licence.
A Working with Children Check.
A National Police Check.
An NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
