About the Opportunity

As a Paediatric Speech Pathologist, you'll work with children and families across a diverse caseload, delivering evidence-based assessment, intervention and education that creates meaningful change in everyday life.

You'll collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, educators and our administration team to provide holistic, family-centred care.

Your role will be tailored to your experience, strengths and career goals.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days at Seed Ability are exactly the same, but depending on your experience and career stage, your role may include:

Delivering evidence-based assessment and intervention for children with a wide range of communication needs.
Building meaningful relationships with children and families through family-centred practice.
Working collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, educators, GPs and other professionals.
Developing individualised therapy plans that support participation at home, school and within the community.
Writing reports and recommendations for families, schools, kindergartens and funding bodies.
Participating in regular supervision, multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical education.
Contributing to service development, mentoring or leadership opportunities as your career progresses.
Continuing to develop your clinical knowledge and pursue areas of professional interest.

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

A degree in Speech Pathology.
Eligibility for Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
A current driver's licence.
A Working with Children Check.
A National Police Check.
An NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
